The Briard Club of America is the national parent club for the Briard. Along with the parent club, there are also regional Briard Clubs scattered across the country. If you are considering getting a Briard, or already have one, a Briard Club in your region can be a way to meet others with a passion for Briards. Most clubs support entries at local dog shows, often also having a picnic or social get-together at the show, to which every Briard owner is welcome. Some clubs also offer fun days, which allow your Briard and you to meet and greet other Briards, play games, maybe even meet some sheep for herding instinct testing. If you are considering showing your Briard, local clubs can steer you to the shows where you will find experienced owners willing to help a new exhibitor. Many clubs welcome new members.
